Cory Graduates

In August, Cory graduated with her Bachelor's in Psychology from BYU.  It was really great to be able to be a part of the day.  A lot of her family was in town to celebrate, so I met a number of new family members.

It was also around this time that Cory found a full-time job here in Utah.  That was a big deal, because it meant we could continue our relationship.  She originally had planned to move back to Texas, but with things going so well we talked about her staying, and thankfully she found a job.

I felt like it was too soon to talk about marriage, which is why it was so great she was staying in Utah.  I was worried that her moving to Texas might have forced us to talk about more serious decisions sooner than we needed to.

End of Summer

The Summer wound down with me finishing up classes and hanging out a lot with my roommates and Cory.  We did everything from water balloon fights...

To pie eating contests...

Joseph and I actually did not want to try and eat our pies, so our contest was to see who could hold their breath the longest in their pie.  We held hands, and also could not stop laughing, which caused me to snort into my pie.

I attempted to make a tie dye shirt.  It didn't turn out very well, but I still wore it.

At the end of the summer, Brett, Kyle, and Shane all came back and the Forbidden Fruits were reunited!
